You can clean your grill from grease and carbon deposits not only with store-bought cleaning products, but also by using folk methods.
The latter, unlike household chemicals, have such advantages as availability, low cost and safety.
Use tongs to take half a lemon and rub it over the hot grate. The acid in lemon juice is an excellent grease solvent.
Half an onion can have a similar effect.
Place the grill or removed panel in a waterproof bag and fill it with carbonated drink. Leave for 5-7 minutes, then shake the bag several times and rinse the part with running water.
This method is also suitable for cleaning the microwave oven grate.
A ball of aluminum foil can clean carbon deposits off a hot metal grate just as effectively as a brush.
Important: This method is not suitable for parts with a non-stick coating.
