Sometimes housewives, to their chagrin, discover that the steam outlet channels on the sole of the iron are so clogged that the equipment stops performing its functions.
Fortunately, this problem can be fixed with one trick that we will tell you about today.
Prepare a disposable medical syringe and fill it with citric acid solution.
Introduce liquid from outside, puncturing the limescale deposits.
Wait for a while and try out the steam release button.
If the trick doesn't work, wet a few pieces of cotton wool removed from cotton swabs and place them on the sole of the iron.
The solution will corrode some of the plaque, and you will be able to clean the channels using the standard method.
After cleaning, test the iron by ironing an unnecessary piece of light fabric. Be sure to use the steam function to check the operation of the equipment.
If there are no stains, streaks or deformations left on the fabric, the iron can be used as usual.
