Iron-on transfers or heat transfers look like pictures that are supposed to be glued to fabric using an iron.

With their help, you can turn the most ordinary thing into a real exclusive – if, of course, you glue it correctly. How to do this – read in our article.

Instructions for gluing iron-on stickers

Before attaching the iron-on transfer to clothing, test it on a small, inconspicuous area to see what temperature the material can withstand.

Heat the iron to this temperature, turn off the steam and cut the sticker along the outline of the design.

Smooth the garment as smoothly as possible and make sure there are no folds or seams where you are gluing it.

After this, heat the place where the sticker will be with an iron, and then apply the sticker to the clothes with the front side up, cover with tracing paper or a clean sheet of paper and press with the heated sole of the iron with force for 10-15 seconds.

If the drawing is large, glue one part first, then the other.

Pay special attention to small elements and edges, ironing them thoroughly and firmly with the tip of the iron.

Let the paper cool for 5-10 minutes, then remove it. Done!
