Due to the aggressiveness of dishwasher detergents and high water temperatures, this cleaning method is contraindicated for some dishes.
Salad bowls and soup bowls in the form of saucepans made of fine porcelain, glass, majolica and other fragile materials - such kitchen utensils may not withstand washing in a dishwasher due to vibrations and exposure to high temperatures.
These dishes may absorb detergent, making them unsuitable for dishwasher use.
Also, pots "equipped" with a non-stick layer are not suitable for washing in the machine, as after several washes they may lose their properties. This also includes multicooker bowls - it is better if you wash them by hand.
Do not wash cast iron pans and cauldrons in the dishwasher, as they are too heavy and can damage the machine. In addition, cast iron can rust from prolonged contact with water.
It is also not recommended to wash dishes with wooden or plastic handles, as these materials may not withstand the high temperatures of water in the dishwasher.
Earlier we talked about the difference between a sauté pan and a frying pan and a saucepan.
