Soda and foil
A combination of baking soda and foil can be used to clean jewelry.
Dissolve 2-3 tablespoons of soda in a glass of hot water, then pour the solution into a container with a sheet of foil at the bottom. Place the jewelry in the container and leave overnight. In the morning, rinse the jewelry under cold water and wipe dry.
Lipstick
This decorative cosmetic product can also be used to add shine to gold jewelry.
Apply lipstick (transparent is best) to a cloth and wipe the jewelry. This method is especially suitable for gold-plated jewelry.
Chalk and ammonia
A “combo” of chalk and ammonia will clean gold jewelry no less effectively.
