Washing liquid wallpaper is not a good idea, as it is water-soluble. Before applying the "silk plaster" to the wall, it is diluted with water.
Therefore, when you start rubbing the wallpaper with a damp sponge, it dissolves. We advise you to use other cleaning methods - simple and safe.
Liquid wallpaper theoretically should not collect dust due to its antistatic effect. However, in reality the situation may be different. Small unevenness on the wall surface in practice becomes an excellent dust trap.
To remove dust from liquid wallpaper, you can use a regular dry cloth or a vacuum cleaner. When using a vacuum cleaner, be careful and use a soft attachment to prevent damage to the decorative surface of the wallpaper. In addition, do not press on the brush or rub the wall with force, just brush off the dust.
If a dirty spot has formed on the wall, you can try to remove it with an eraser. It is best to use a double eraser - hard on one side and soft on the other.
The stain should be rubbed first with the soft side of the eraser, starting with a small area to assess the result. If the stain is removed successfully, you can continue rubbing until it is completely removed.
Important: The hard side of the eraser can damage the texture of the wallpaper, so it should be used with caution, erasing the stain in small sections without applying force.
Once the top, most visible layer of dirt has been removed, you can return to the soft side of the eraser to complete the cleaning process.
