A dirty iron soleplate can become a real problem for those housewives who regularly iron clothes.
Luckily, there is a simple and effective way to clean the soleplate of your iron that doesn't require expensive or harmful chemicals.
All you need is one paracetamol tablet – you probably have this medicine hiding in your medicine cabinet.
To begin cleaning, clamp the tablet with tweezers. Then turn on the iron.
Important: Make sure the appliance is not in steam mode.
Wait until the iron warms up and you can start cleaning the soleplate.
When exposed to heat, paracetamol will dissolve any dirt on the surface of the iron.
Once the tablet has completely melted, all you need to do is gently wipe the sole of the iron with a towel or soft cloth to remove any remaining dirt and paracetamol.
