It is quite difficult to protect shoes from getting wet – unless they are made of rubber. But there is good news – you don’t have to use a radiator or a hair dryer to dry your boots.
Today we will tell you about three methods of effective shoe drying, the advantage of which is that they can be applied to shoes made of any material - even suede will remain safe and sound after such drying.
The most reliable method involves using salt.
Heat it in a frying pan, fill an old sock with hot salt using a spoon and place it in the wet shoe. After half an hour, when the salt has cooled down, repeat the procedure.
You can also use paper towels or old newspapers to dry quickly.
Crumple them up, put them in your shoes and change them every three hours, and you won't need a hair dryer or a radiator.
There is another way to ensure that your shoes are dry by morning. Fill a large container, such as a basin, with rice.
Place wet shoes or boots there and cover them with another basin. In 8-10 hours the shoes will be completely dry.
If you don’t want to waste rice grains on drying shoes, replace it with cat litter.
