In modern apartments, it is not as common to see carpets on the floor as in the houses where our grandparents lived.
However, in some places this interior detail is still present, which means that the issue of cleaning carpets and rugs remains relevant.
That's why today we'll tell you about a rather unusual way to clean a carpet, for which you don't even have to remove it from the floor. Moreover, this method of washing is carried out without using water.
Despite this, cleaning using this method will ensure that your carpet looks fresher and brighter.
You will need regular baking soda, which has the ability to absorb dust and dirt.
Sprinkle baking soda on the carpet, paying particular attention to areas that are stained or heavily worn. Scrub the carpet surface with a brush and leave for an hour, then vacuum the carpet.
Please note that for long pile carpets, you may need to repeat the vacuuming process several times to completely remove the baking soda.
Earlier we shared a cheap method that will help remove mold from sealant.
