How to Restore Non-Stick Coating on a Frying Pan: Vinegar to the Rescue

A frying pan is a real helper for any housewife, without which no kitchen is imaginable.

You can fry, stew, heat and even boil on it, but only if the coating of the cookware is not damaged.

If you notice small defects on the surface of the frying pan, don’t give up – a simple life hack using vinegar will help you get rid of them.

To restore the non-stick coating of a frying pan, you will need: 150 grams of table vinegar, two tablespoons of soda and a glass of warm water.

Mix all the ingredients and pour them into the pan with the damaged coating. Now put the pan on the fire and bring the mixture to a boil.

Boil the mixture for 10 minutes, then drain it and let the pan cool to avoid temperature changes. When the dishes have cooled down a little, wash them with warm water and detergent.

Then put the pan back on the stove for about 30 seconds – this is enough time for it to become warm, but not hot.

After that, pour some vegetable oil into the pan and spread it over the bottom with a silicone brush. Finally, rinse the pan again with warm water and let it dry.
