When scammers call twice: a clever scam scheme exposed
Telephone scammers have changed their tactics and now begin their scams with “test” calls.

How Scammers' Tactics Have Changed
As Solovyov said on Sputnik radio, the attackers now make “test” calls with a difference of several days in order to obtain more information about the potential victim.
The scammers then throw out bait, for example, posing as law enforcement officers, announcing an investigation, and convincing the victim to take out a loan or provide payment information.
The lawyer recommended that in such cases the conversation be stopped immediately.
