A soap solution, which can be prepared from grated soap and water, works great on yellowed plastic – mix the ingredients until you get a paste, wait until it swells, apply to the surface for half an hour and rinse with warm water.
Although this is effective, as ADVICE.NEWS reports, it is not the only option for cleaning plastic surfaces.
Pour some dimexide onto a cotton pad or sponge and begin to vigorously wipe the plastic surface with it.
Continue until the material is lightened to the desired shade (usually 5-10 seconds).
After the procedure, wipe the plastic surface with a sponge or cloth dampened with water.
You will need to pour a generous amount of peroxide onto a rag and wipe the plastic with it.
It is even better to soak the item in peroxide if the elements are small and can be removed.
To enhance the effect, you can also direct the UV lamp onto the container with peroxide or onto the area that needs to be bleached.
Warm-up time: 6 hours.
