How to clean the sole of an iron from carbon deposits: an effective method
If you don’t get rid of the carbon deposits on your iron in time, they can ruin your favorite items when ironing.
Only at first glance it may seem that the process of cleaning the sole of the iron is complicated.
In fact, all you need are some tools at hand and a few minutes of free time.
You need to prepare a sponge, a clean toothbrush, toothpaste and a basin.
The equipment must be turned off.
First, apply the paste to the iron platform using a brush.
Next, you need to rub the surface with a brush, removing all excess stains and burnt areas.
You can leave the paste on the surface for a few minutes, and then remove the product with a damp, soft sponge.
After this, the iron should be wiped with a dry cloth to remove all traces of cleaning.
If the contamination is serious, the procedure with the paste should be repeated.
As a result, the soleplate of the iron will become clean and shiny.
