Who is unfamiliar with the situation when you urgently need the contents of a tin can, but have nothing to open it with?

If you find yourself in a similar predicament, use the method in this article - it will work in all cases when it comes to cans that are not equipped with a factory-installed opening grip.

And for this you will need the most ordinary spoon - you can probably find one in your kitchen.

So, the spoon needs to be held in the right hand in such a way that the end of about 2-3 cm remains free.

With your left hand, grasp the tin can, then begin to rub the tip of the spoon against its lid, making movements with an amplitude of approximately 2-3 cm.

At first, a groove will form in the lid, and then a through hole will appear - the main thing is to apply enough force.

After this, insert the tip of the spoon into the hole and press hard on it, while simultaneously moving towards cutting the can.

Your task is to make rocking movements, as a result of which the edge of the spoon should not rub the edge of the metal, but rather tear it when moving from top to bottom.

In this way, continue cutting the lid of the can in a circle, and when there is 1-2 cm left before the circle is closed, use a cutlery to lift the lid and bend it upward.
