It doesn’t matter what you have at your disposal – a spacious mansion or a tiny apartment: maintaining cleanliness in both cases is quite difficult.
One character trait that especially interferes with order is the inability to say goodbye to unnecessary things.
A cleaning method called “12-12-12” created by an American minimalist fan, Joshua Becker, will help solve this problem.
The idea is to regularly choose 12 things to throw away, 12 things to put back, and 12 things to donate.
To make the decluttering process less difficult, stick to the following principles.
1. Strictly "filter" everything that comes into the house. Remember: impulsive and thoughtless purchases are your enemies.
2. Do some tidying up every day, even if it's in small "portions". This is better than leaving everything until the big cleaning.
3. Regularly review your closets and other storage areas to discard damaged items, items that are no longer relevant or will no longer be used.
