It's nice to dry your face and hands with a fluffy and soft towel. Terry products are just made for this, but after an unsuccessful wash they turn into sandpaper.
Towels and robes can become stiff even after unsuccessful drying. Fortunately, all this can be fixed.
Housewives were told how to properly wash and dry terry products so that they always remain soft.
So, to ensure that your towels always remain soft after washing, you can do without household chemicals.
1. The easiest trick is to soak hard items in a bath of cold water. Best overnight.
The point is that the water will dissolve the detergent residues that were not washed out after washing. As a result, the fabric fibers will straighten out, and the towel or robe will become soft.
2. When washing such items, you can add a soda solution (1 tbsp. soda per liter of warm water). It is also used for soaking.
3. You can use salt (100 g per 5 l of warm water), but without flavor additives. Add to the drum of the machine or use for rinsing the fabric in the solution.
Then you need to rinse the items in clean water.
4. You can use table vinegar with the same success (50 ml of vinegar per 5 liters of water). Soak the items in the solution for a couple of minutes.
It is believed that the ideal option for drying such items is in a tumble dryer.
