How to Dry Suede Shoes Properly: Keep Them Away from the Radiator

Suede shoes look beautiful, especially if the covering is made of natural suede.

But, like most shoes, in winter it becomes covered with stains and streaks, which leads to gradual deterioration of the material.

Another problem is excessive wetting, which can occur even in winter, during the thaw.

It is recommended to use special water-repellent agents - regular greasy cream will not work.

Here are some tips.

1. The total drying time in most cases is about 20 hours.
2. The fact is that it is better to keep suede shoes away from radiators and heaters.
3. The air in the room should not be humid.
4. Place newspaper inside and dry at room temperature.
5. You should not dry such shoes in direct sunlight.
6. It is better not to use a hair dryer - only in extreme cases.
7. Shoes also need to be dried from the inside.
