Winter clothing requires special care and attention like no other. Improper washing and other types of care can make it useless.
If only it were just a matter of pilling! Clothes can stop keeping you warm in cold and damp weather.
Most often, mistakes are made in the care of gloves, sweaters, jeans, scarves and suede shoes.
If the manufacturer allows, machine washing can only be done in a delicate mode. Nothing else should be washed together with the wool sweater. And it would not be superfluous to put it in a laundry bag.
Hand wash in warm water, soaking for 3-5 minutes with detergent. Then rinse the sweater thoroughly, let the water drain and dry horizontally.
The good thing about jeans is that they don't need to be washed often. They can easily withstand up to 10 wears.
When washing by hand, soak them in cold water with powder for 30 minutes, then rinse and leave for 10 minutes.
After this, you can rinse the clothes.
When machine washing, jeans are washed inside out and dried in the open air.
Leather gloves are washed by hand. You need to drop a little vinegar on a sponge and wipe the product - the leather will become elastic.
You can't leave gloves to dry on a radiator or in the sun. They can crack, shrink, and the skin will become hard.
Before you start cleaning suede boots, you need to dry them. After that, shake off the dirt and use a suede treatment product.
The scarf can be washed by hand or in a washing machine. The main thing is to dry it properly afterwards.
To make the product last longer, do not twist or wring out the scarf. It is best to press it with your hands to the sink or bathtub, squeezing out the water.
Then you need to put it on a towel and dry it horizontally.
