How to Iron Polyester Items Properly: Without an Iron

A man-made material such as polyester is often used in the clothing manufacturing process.

The fabric is inexpensive, resistant to deformation and ultraviolet radiation, which is why it retains its attractive appearance for a long time.

At the same time, the question often arises: how should you iron polyester items so as not to damage them?

Perhaps the first thing you should do is study the information on the label, which is usually attached to the inside of the product.

But what if you find an image of a crossed-out iron there, which means that the item cannot be ironed? Try to solve the problem in a folk way.

To do this, place an item from your wardrobe on a hanger, fastening any zippers and buttons on it.

Try to smooth out any uneven areas with wet hands, then take the garment to the bathroom.

Close the door behind you and fill the bathtub with the hottest water possible. The product should remain in these conditions for about 15 minutes.

Under the influence of steam, the folds on the clothes will straighten out, and you can take the item to dry in another room where the temperature is normal.
