Typically, the sink in the kitchen is located above a cabinet, inside which there is relatively a lot of free space.

There are convenient places for storing cleaning products and other tools.

But there is a category of products that are best not placed under the sink, otherwise problems may arise.

What you shouldn't put under the kitchen sink

Here are some examples.

1. Paper towels and paper or cardboard products. Unfortunately, pipe leaks happen quite often - all products will be damaged by water.
2. Household appliances. Multicookers, blenders, pressure cookers and other household appliances simply have no place there. They are best put in a cupboard.
3. Capsules for washing machines or dishwashers. It is better to store such things on the top shelf – children can pick them up.
4. Cleaning and washing products. They can also be damaged by dampness if not properly sealed.
5. Onions and potatoes. This category includes any food that will spoil and become moldy.
