Yellow stains on plates are solidified fat that remains after poor and superficial dishwashing.

Another reason is hard water, which can also cause the problem. But in this case, the deposit is not greasy, but limescale.

If a problem does arise, you shouldn’t think that you need to run to the store for aggressive chemicals.

The solution will come from a few penny-sized products that any responsible housewife usually already has at home.

For example, you can use soda or laundry soap. It is enough to simply wash the plates and cups with these products and a damp sponge.

You can use vinegar or citric acid. These products should be applied to the stains for 15 minutes and then washed off with regular dishwashing detergents and a sponge.

If we are talking about complex and old stains, then you need to combine the means.

To begin with, it is advisable to soak the dishes in hot water for 10 minutes, and then apply soda and vinegar to the plaque. As soon as the mixture stops foaming, you can wash the plates with a sponge. As a result, the plaque will quickly come off. After the procedure, all that remains is to rinse the dishes.
