Which floor is best to live on: advice for apartment buyers
Even today, in advertisements one can often see a remark from an apartment buyer about his unwillingness to purchase housing on the first and last floors.
During Soviet times, it was indeed relatively difficult to live on these floors in some buildings.
The latter was quite hot in the summer due to its proximity to the roof, and the former was a place where many were afraid of theft.
But today the realities of buying real estate have changed quite a lot.
Which floor is better to buy an apartment on?
Let's consider 2 options.
- 2-4 floor. You won't be too dependent on the elevator. There will be good water pressure and a relatively high level of illumination.
- 5-10th floor. Street noise rarely reaches here. The stairwell is cleaner. Apartments are slightly cheaper.
It is important to understand that in the process of purchasing an apartment, you need to pay attention to other factors.
For example, the condition of the floors, the presence of repairs, an elevator, neighbors and reviews for the management company. In other words, if the apartment is on the first or last floor, this does not mean that you have a bad option.
