The high humidity that often prevails in the bathroom inevitably leads to the formation of mold.
Very often, black colonies of fungi choose the sealant on the bathtub as a “settlement site”.
If the spores have become so deeply embedded in the seams that a store-bought product cannot deal with them, try calling on folk remedies that our grandmothers used to help.
Dip a brush in undiluted hydrogen peroxide and apply it to the moldy surfaces of the seams. You will have to stay in this state for 15 minutes, after which you should wash the bathtub with a soap solution, and finally rinse with clean water.
Tea tree essential oil has proven highly effective in combating mold. Add 2 teaspoons of essential oil to 0.5 liters of water, stir and apply to moldy sealant. This product does not need to be washed off.
To get rid of mold on the sealant, spray it with vinegar, then after 30 minutes wash it off with soapy water and rinse the seams with clean water.
