Some items have symbols on them that indicate that they cannot be ironed with a regular iron.
But what should you do with such a thing if it has been washed, wrung out and dried?
You can still use an iron, but it must have a steam function - you need to use the vertical processing method.
This method will help you deal with creases in the fabric. A standard steamer will also work.
It is better to turn on the steamer at full power so that the process goes faster. After processing, the product should remain slightly damp - wait until it dries.
If your iron does not have a steam mode, you can hang the item over hot water for several hours.
Moisture and steam will allow the creases in the fabric to straighten out.
Experts do not recommend ironing materials that shrink. Also, do not iron nylon items. Iron plush and velvet only from the inside.
