What to do if candle wax drips onto your clothes: just don't rub

Candles, which are capable of providing living light (which distinguishes them from lamps), are used not only as a backup option in case of a power outage, but also as a decorative element.

They are often lit during a massage, a psychological session, and at any other time when you want to relax and watch the flame play.

Therefore, given such widespread popularity, it is not surprising that sometimes a candle becomes the cause of a stain on clothing - when melted wax drips onto the item.

The worst thing you can do in this situation is to start rubbing the area while the wax is still wet.

Instead, wait until the wax has cooled (and therefore hardened), then carefully scrape it off the fabric using a sharp object.

After this, place the product on the ironing board, placing a thick towel under its back side. The front side should be covered with a thin cotton fabric.

For the next, final step, you will need an iron.

Heat the device to about 60 degrees and iron the stained area. The wax residue will melt and be absorbed into the cotton fabric, after which all you have to do is wash the item.
