Wallpaper – be it paper, vinyl or any other – is perhaps the most common option used to decorate walls.
But what to do if you decide to update the interior, and the old canvases cannot be separated from the wall?
In such a situation, you first need to make cuts on the wallpaper along its entire perimeter.
A roller with nails or a regular spatula will help you with this, with which you can make small notches on the canvas.
After this, you need to stock up on warm water and wet the walls with it.
To do this, wet a sponge in water and wipe the wall with it – this way you will be able to saturate the wallpaper with liquid.
After this, you should wait a couple of minutes, and when you see that the coating has completely darkened, you can begin to remove them.
In the case of vinyl wallpaper, at this stage you will only be able to remove one, the top layer, after which the procedure will have to be repeated again.
