But not everyone can afford such cleaning on a regular basis, as it is quite expensive. As it turns out, there is a cheap way that is no worse than professional cleaning.
How to Clean a Carpet with Soap and Starch
At first glance, it may seem that these components are unlikely to cope with such a complex task. However, it is worth trying this method at least once in order to use it regularly.
First, vacuum the surface. Once the main layer of dirt has been removed, you can proceed to the next step.
To do this, you will need to grind some soap using a grater. One large spoon will be enough.
Then we combine the resulting shavings with 200 grams of potato starch. We apply the mixture to the carpet.
After an hour, we begin to thoroughly clean the coating using a hard brush.
All that's left to do is go over it with the vacuum cleaner one more time. You'll be surprised at how clean the carpet is.
