Crumbs, stains and puddles on your dining table or countertop are inevitable.

Removing food particles and tea residue usually does not cause any difficulties for housewives.

Many people prefer to do it this way: take a piece of paper towel or paper napkin and go over the dirty furniture with the product.

The material perfectly absorbs moisture and helps to easily collect all the crumbs.

However, some experienced housewives never wipe the table with paper. It is believed that it is better to use a piece of cloth for this purpose.

Wiping the table with paper: possible consequences

Using paper material to remove small debris from the surface of furniture is a bad omen.

It is believed that a housewife who makes such a mistake can bring bad luck and financial problems upon herself and her family.

The belief did not appear without reason. In ancient times, paper had a special attitude. It was believed that such material could not be used for cleaning. Violating the ban was considered wasteful.

However, there is a rational explanation why you shouldn’t wipe the table with paper.

So, on the surface of the furniture there may be not only crumbs and puddles, but also difficult to remove dirt. For example, greasy stains. Paper is unlikely to cope with them. But a rag will remove such stains without problems.
