Every self-respecting housewife who does not want to damage the table and other surfaces in the kitchen uses a cutting board.

For this reason, this “accessory” can be found in any kitchen.

However, due to the fact that we use the cutting board, among other things, to cut products with a strong smell, over time it itself begins to emit an unpleasant odor.

Using such kitchen utensils is not only unpleasant, but also unsafe.

Instead of going to the store for a new cutting board every time you cut some smoked fish, use this life hack with baking soda.

To do this, fill a basin or any other suitable container with water and pour a glass of soda into it.

Now place the same board in the resulting solution and leave it here for a day.

All that remains is to rinse the cutting board with warm water and you can safely smell it – the unpleasant “aroma” will disappear without a trace.
