How to Clean a Toilet to a Shine: Dazzling Results Without the Smell of Bleach

It is no secret that many products intended for cleaning plumbing fixtures have a strong odor – and often not the most pleasant one.

Despite the fact that household chemicals cope with the task with flying colors, it is simply impossible to call them safe.

Instead, you can use a more neutral homemade cleaning agent.

To do this, pour half a liter of water into a saucepan and add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.

Mix the contents of the pan thoroughly and place it on the fire.

While you are waiting for the cleaning agent base to boil, dissolve 2 tablespoons of citric acid in 100 ml of water in a separate container, then add 10 ml of liquid soap and stir.

Pour the acid-base solution into the cooled base with starch.

One small step remains – adding a small amount of dye. Then you will be able to see where the cleaning agent has hit and which areas have remained unaffected.
