If you decide to lay laminate floors in your apartment, you should learn about the rules of its use, because you will probably have to remove various stains from the floor, and not all products are suitable for this.

Below you will find a list of the compounds that were banned.

These are, first of all, aerosols that contain ammonia - due to their frequent use, the protective layer applied on top of the laminate is erased.

In addition, the “sanctions” also apply to aggressive preparations, as well as products that contain abrasive particles.

The result of their use is micro-scratches, which not only worsen the appearance of the floor covering, but also lead to a reduction in its service life.

Also, do not buy household chemicals that contain alkali or strong acids. Otherwise, you will have to say goodbye to the protective and decorative layer.

Moreover, ordinary water and soap solution are not suitable for washing laminate. Tap water has a slightly alkaline structure, so white spots may remain on the laminated surface. Soap is the reason for the dullness of the laminate.

Instead, use products made specifically for laminate floors, or add a small amount of vinegar to the water you use to clean the floor.
