White plastic window sills are one of the popular interior design solutions. However, along with numerous advantages, they also have a significant disadvantage.
The disadvantage is that window sills have the property of changing their “natural” whiteness to a dirty yellow hue.
Luckily, we were able to find a product that will help you restore the white color even to a pretty dirty window sill.
Nothing complicated – for this purpose you will need chalk and tooth powder, which are readily available to everyone.
First of all, grind up the chalk – you will need fine crumbs to prepare the cleaning solution.
Mix a tablespoon of the same crumbs with a small amount of water to make a thick paste.
Now pour 20 g of tooth powder (it is better to take one with a whitening effect) into the container where you mix the product.
Everything needs to be mixed and applied to the dirty areas of the window sill for 30 minutes, after which you should start cleaning the surface, armed with a damp sponge.
After the window sill has been washed, do not forget to wipe it dry to get rid of any possible whitish residue.
