How to check silver for authenticity: all you need is chalk
There are many ways to determine the authenticity of silver at home.

Take a cotton swab, dip it into the liquid and touch the product.
If the silver begins to darken around the perimeter of the spot, you can be sure that the metal is real.

Instead, it is worth using another method that is absolutely harmless to silver. It is based on the use of chalk.
All you need to do is rub the item with chalk. You can do this without fear, as such contact will not harm the precious metal in any way.
If the chalk starts to turn black, you can consider that the test has been passed and you have a genuine product in front of you.
