Shish kebab can cause headaches – the reason for this is the toxic substances released during the combustion process.

Toxins cause poisoning, which results in weakness and general fatigue.

It turns out that you need to be careful with the wood that is used to create coals.

And don’t think that your head always hurts because vacationers have overindulged in alcohol – there are other reasons.

  • Conifers – spruce, pine, cedar and larch, thuja, fir and yew. The combustion products of these firewoods contain resin and toxins. The soot can make meat bitter.
  • Elm, acacia, poplar and rowan – this wood absorbs pollution from the environment. Many even call poplar the forest cleaner. Dangerous substances can get into meat with smoke.
  • Construction waste - do not use boards with paint or wood that is left over from the demolition of a building.

It is also not recommended to use blackened or discolored firewood, as it may be contaminated with mold or fungus.
