You may have heard from friends or read on the Internet that you can clean your kitchen sink to a shine with ordinary flour.
But not everyone knows that this method, although effective, can lead to unpleasant consequences in the form of a blockage.
Therefore, we will hasten to tell you how to properly perform the cleaning procedure.
Start by cleaning your sink with your regular dish soap that you use every day.
Rinse the sink with clean water and wipe dry with a towel so that not a drop of water remains on the surface of the sink.
Sprinkle flour evenly over the dry sink—about 2 tablespoons for a standard-sized sink—and then use a disposable towel or the rough side of a sponge to scrub the sink thoroughly.
All that's left to do is collect the flour (you'll be surprised at how dirty it is) and throw the used product into the trash can.
The final stage is rinsing, after which the sink needs to be wiped again.
