Ultraviolet solar radiation, temperature and humidity changes lead to the appearance of unsightly yellow spots on window plastic.
Most often this happens with those frames that were made using low-quality polymers without the addition of light stabilizers and antioxidants.
There are several ways to restore plastic to its original whiteness.
Grate half a bar of soap, pour a glass of boiling water over the shavings, mix and leave until cool.
The mixture is applied to a pre-cleaned frame. Leave for 30 minutes, then rinse off the residue with clean water and wipe dry.
If laundry soap does not help, prepare a more complex solution. In 500 ml of water, mix 1 tbsp. of soda and the same amount of washing powder for whites.
Apply the product to the windows. Leave for 10-12 hours, then rinse with plain water and wipe dry.
The sponge is moistened with the drugstore product and applied to the yellowed areas. Leave for 2-3 hours, then rinsed and wiped dry.
