Limescale deposits on the inner surfaces of a kettle are, unfortunately, not uncommon.
Usually, in such a situation, baking soda and vinegar come to the rescue, but not everyone knows that such a combination is fraught with the formation of rust over time.
In order not to jump from the frying pan into the fire, smart “housekeepers” have long found an alternative to traditional means – Sprite.
How to use soda to remove limescale? Use the following instructions.
1. Open the bottle of drink and leave it for a while to get rid of the gas bubbles.
2. When the sprite is ready to drink, fill the teapot two-thirds full and leave for 30-60 minutes.
3. After the specified time, boil the liquid and leave it to cool in the kettle.
4. Now that the sprite has become cold, you can safely pour it into the sink and rinse the “insides” of the kettle with clean water.
This budget and hassle-free method will certainly impress you with its results.
