Lemon peel, when grated on a fine grater, turns into a valuable ingredient that is used in cooking.

However, the remaining peel, after the juice has been squeezed out of the fruit, is usually thrown away. Experienced housewives do otherwise.

We'll tell you about a simple trick with waste that allows you to tidy up different surfaces in your home.

Lemon peel is not only a natural flavoring agent when brewing tea. It has no equal in household use.

Based on it, you can prepare a solution that will replace cleaning products in the apartment.

How to proceed

To prepare the mixture you will need:

  • the peel of two lemons,
  • 1 tbsp. soda,
  • 1 tbsp. dishwashing liquid,
  • a pinch of salt,
  • white vinegar,
  • water.

The remaining lemon zest should be chopped and placed in the bottom of a spray bottle and filled with water.

Then vinegar, salt and dishwashing liquid are added here.

Housewives say that this product not only fights dirt during cleaning, but also acts as an antiseptic.
