The adhesive from the tape remains on any surface, which greatly spoils their appearance.

Over time, dust, hair, pet hair and various debris stick to the trace. However, you can get rid of the hated sticky trace quickly and without much effort.

Glass

For work you will need gloves, a sponge (rag), a little acetone or gasoline. Any of the selected means are applied to the sponge and wiped the glass. After that, take a clean rag, wet it with water and wash the cleaned surface from acetone (gasoline).

Plastic

In this case, any product containing alcohol will help. But it should not contain sugar or dyes. Medical alcohol is ideal. It is applied to a cotton pad or cloth, and then the contaminated surface is wiped.

Metal

A gentle solvent, such as nail polish remover, will help. The principle is the same as with plastic. Harsher solvents can "remove" paint from metal or make the varnish coating matte.

Use a greasy cream or vegetable oil. You will also need a hair dryer, a sponge and a soap solution. First, rub the sticky mark with oil (cream) and leave for 1-2 hours. Then turn on the hair dryer at the lowest setting and warm up the problem area. Finally, wash with a sponge soaked in a soap solution.

Wood products take the longest to clean, as they are one of the most delicate surfaces. In other cases, tape marks are removed in a matter of minutes.
