A cup of coffee spilled on upholstered furniture can become a serious problem, especially if your favorite sofa is “under fire”.
But don't despair! There are several effective recipes that will help you get rid of the stain and restore your upholstery to its original appearance. Here's what you should try.
If you get a coffee stain on your sofa, immediately go "hunting" for lemon. Apply the juice to the stain and leave for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse the fabric with clean water.
This is also a very effective method, for which you will need to mix water and vinegar in equal parts, and then apply the resulting solution to the stain with a soft cloth. Leave it until it dries completely.
Finally, if you don't have the above ingredients at hand, try removing the stain with regular soap. Lather the stain, and after 5 minutes, rub it with a soft cloth and remove the remaining product with clean water.
Important: Do not use chlorine, hard brushes or other aggressive chemicals to clean upholstered furniture, as they may damage the upholstery. If you cannot remove the stain yourself, seek professional help.
In the future, we recommend using a cover or cape that can be easily removed and washed if trouble occurs.
