It's great when there are universal cleaning products for everything, but that's not the case, and you often have to deal with scale and limescale using improvised means.

First of all, you want to clean the washing machine, without which any housewife is doomed to hand washing and rinsing in basins.

To prevent anything bad from happening to your household appliances, you can use one affordable product that easily deals with scale and plaque that has accumulated on heating elements.

It has long been known that citric acid copes with plaque and limescale better than other means.

But citizens use the life hack as they please, adding acid by eye, and not by calculation.

For this trick to work, you need to add 50 grams of citric acid to every kilogram of washing machine load.

That is, if the compartment capacity is five kilograms of laundry, then you need to use 250 grams of powder.

The citric acid needs to be divided into parts.

¾ is poured into the compartment for washing powder. The remaining part can be placed directly into the drum of the washing machine.

Next, select a program that starts washing at the maximum temperature.

After this, you can be sure that cleaning your washing machine will be effective.
