How to Wash Paint Off Window Glass: Simple Methods

Sometimes, while cleaning glass, many housewives notice a paint stain that appears out of nowhere.
To get rid of the conspicuous mark, you can use a mechanical method by scraping off the paint with a sharp knife.
But there are also much simpler options, which involve using a solvent.
So, if the window was stained with oil paint, it is worth using purified gasoline, which is used to fill lighters.
Alternatively, wipe the window with turpentine. This product, by the way, will not leave a trace even after alkyd construction paints.
White spirit is also able to cope not only with oil composition, but also with enamel paints.
In addition, you can use acetone (for perchlorovinyl paints), solvent No. 646, which will remove acrylic paints and epoxy varnishes, and solvent No. 647 - thanks to it, you will say goodbye to nitro enamel on glass.
