However, according to popular belief, not all wardrobe items can be given as gifts, even to loved ones.

Shoes

Superstitions place a taboo on both house slippers and trendy shoes for an elegant outfit. The belief is that such gifts promise illness, hard times and a series of trials.

There is also a positive interpretation of the sign. For example, it is believed that if a wife gives shoes to her husband, then this means a long and happy married life.

Headdress

The sign warns: when choosing a headdress, you must not try the item on yourself. Otherwise, it may lead to a quarrel with the person to whom this gift is given.

Shirt

There is a belief that a shirt given as a gift brings imbalance into the relationship between a man and a woman. And if an unmarried girl gives this thing to her chosen one, then there is a high probability that the guy will go "left".
