How to Restore Shine to Crystal Glasses: A Five-Minute Method
Crystal glasses develop a yellowish coating quite quickly.
Washing such dishes with ordinary cleaning agents does not always help remove dirt.
If you can’t make the crystal product shiny again, you will have to start soaking it in a basin of water with one additive.
The result will exceed your wildest expectations: the plaque will be removed and the dishes will shine again.
A lifesaver
The secret to perfectly clean crystal glasses is the use of ammonia.
But first, you should take a basin and fill it with water. The liquid should be moderately warm. But in no case should it be icy or hot.
Add a little ammonia to the water and mix well. The following proportion must be observed: no more than one tablespoon of the product per liter of liquid.
Place the glasses in the prepared solution. The dishes should lie in the liquid mixture for five minutes.
Next, the crystal items must be removed, rinsed with water, carefully wiped with a clean kitchen towel and placed on a piece of cloth upside down.
After some time, the glasses will sparkle. It will be clear that the dishes have become perfectly clean.
