Often cooks get distracted and forget that they have porridge, milk, jam, soup or roast on the stove.

As a result, a pot with burnt food remains ends up in the sink. To wash such dishes, water or detergent alone is not enough.

Whey

An old method that has helped several generations of housewives. Whey contains compounds that effectively destroy burnt particles.

The dairy product is poured into a saucepan. The whey should not only cover the carbon deposits, but also be 2 cm higher than it. The liquid is left to “work” for 24 hours. After this, the dirt can be easily washed off with a sponge and detergent. Suitable for saucepans made of any material.

Soda

Mix soda with water until it becomes a paste. The composition can be supplemented with salt. It is combined with soda in equal proportions.

The resulting mixture is used to lubricate the burnt walls and bottom, and then left for a couple of hours. Then the carbon is washed off with a sponge and warm water. In more serious cases, the soda mixture can be poured with water and boiled for 10-15 minutes, and then after cooling, remove the dirt with a sponge.

Solution with silicate glue, liquid soap and soda

Another universal remedy for cleaning pots from carbon deposits. In 2 liters of water mix a couple of tubes of silicate glue, 100 g of any dishwashing detergent and a glass of soda ash. Baking soda is not suitable in this case.

The resulting mixture is poured into a saucepan and boiled for 60 minutes. Then there are two options to choose from: try to wash off the softened plaque with a sponge or leave the mixture for several hours (or a day).
