Some signs may be a sign that your home is in danger.

A broken cup, a stopped clock or spilled salt can be bad omens.

We will tell you what bad omens are and how to protect yourself from them.

Signs in everyday life and in the house

Since ancient times, there have been events that should not be ignored, as they can bring trouble. They should be prepared for in advance. Such signs include the following.

If insects (cockroaches, ants, bedbugs) appear, someone in the house may get sick.

A stopped wristwatch means money problems, and one stuck to the wall means health problems.

A torn or lowered curtain - you may quarrel with your neighbors.

A dried plant - you may have trouble (you should not sleep in the room where it is located).

A broken or cracked mirror means illness, malaise, problems in your personal life.

Another alarming sign may be a light bulb that burns out almost immediately after purchase. There is a threat of a breakup between husband and wife, so it is better not to quarrel in the next two weeks.

Superstition says that you can’t leave a balcony, window or shutter open when leaving the house, otherwise your money will disappear.

Bad omens in the kitchen

Dishes and utensils in the kitchen can also be a bad omen. Our ancestors learned this:

  • a broken plate or cup means trouble - you cannot collect broken pieces with your hands, only with a broom;
  • a broken plate in hands means that a person is plotting something evil against the owners of the house;
  • if you dropped a knife - a man will come, if you dropped a fork - a woman will come. If you don't want guests to come, knock on the floor three times with the tool;
  • to cut something on the table - divorce and quarrel between lovers;
  • leaving a knife stuck in bread after slicing can lead to hunger and misfortune;
  • to lend someone salt is to give away your happiness and joy;
  • sweeping bread crumbs off the table with your hand means poverty.

There are also good omens associated with cutlery. For example, if you put two spoons in a saucepan and they cross, you will soon get married. Accidentally crossing knives while setting the table is a good omen for you.

In conclusion, it can be said that although some signs and superstitions may seem frivolous, they can have a significant impact on our mental state and behavior. Some of them can even warn us of possible problems in our lives.

But you shouldn't get hung up on them and make decisions based solely on superstitious beliefs. It's best to approach these issues with a dose of common sense and rational thinking, and use scientific knowledge and experience to protect your home and well-being.
