How to Remove Rust Stains from a Countertop: The Easy Way

Often the table top becomes covered with stains of various origins.

And while some of them are easy to get rid of by simply wiping the surface with a damp sponge, others are not going to give up so easily.

For example, dishes left on the table can cause rust to form, which cannot be wiped off with a napkin.

In this case, a cork used to seal wine bottles and vegetable oil will come in handy.

Dip the plug in oil and rub the stained areas with it. If the stains are more than a day old or even a year old, you will have to renew the cut of the plug several times and wet it with vegetable oil.

If you don’t have the necessary “ingredients” at hand, lemon juice will come to the rescue.

Cut the lemon in half and rub it thoroughly on the countertop.

By the way, the citrus option is suitable even when rust stains need to be removed from clothes. However, before you start washing, it is recommended to test the effect of lemon on an inconspicuous area.
