A bouquet of roses will remain beautiful for a month if you add this “doping” to the water: not sugar or aspirin

Many housewives have noticed that store-bought roses wither faster than those cut in their own garden.

The difference is that store-bought flowers are accustomed to a different “diet,” so the old tricks with sugar and aspirin either don’t work or only preserve the beauty of roses for a short time.

For example, add 1.5 teaspoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vinegar per 1 liter of water. The bouquet stays fresh for 3-4 days. A similar effect is achieved by adding ½ aspirin tablet.

Therefore, many housewives wonder what product will help prolong the “life” of a bouquet of roses.

Florists add other components to water that are very different from the usual options. They can also be called folk remedies, but they are more often used in Europe.

So, a piece of coal, a drop of dishwashing detergent or bleach are thrown into a vase with cut flowers.

Foreign varieties are accustomed to chemicals, so this “doping” will help them maintain their beauty for a longer period.
