However, this method is not ideal: traces of printing ink may remain on the window. In addition, the newsprint may be so stiff that scratches will appear.
Therefore, it is better to pay attention to another trick. It is about adding one well-known product to the water.
What to add to water for washing windows
To make the glass surface not only clean, but also acquire a crystal shine, you need to use a little ammonia.
In a standard bucket completely filled with clean water, you need to add two teaspoons of ammonia.
If you only use a glass of water, then a couple of drops of this product will be enough.
You need to dip a sponge into the resulting liquid. After that, all that remains is to wipe the window with it, and then "go over" the glass with a dry soft cloth.
As a result, the surface will shine with cleanliness. No streaks will remain.
However, when using ammonia, you must follow safety rules.
So, you need to put on protective equipment (primarily household gloves). In addition, after completing the procedure, the room should be well ventilated.
