Plastic window sills do not stay snow-white for long and somehow imperceptibly begin to turn yellow.
This happens under the influence of sunlight and if there are flowerpots on the windowsills. Moisture often accumulates under them, which turns into yellow round spots.
Plastic that has turned yellow over time can be put back in order using an inexpensive product that any housewife can make.
To do this you will need:
- 120 ml warm water;
- 90 ml vinegar;
- 30 ml lemon juice.
All ingredients are mixed, the solution needs to be poured into a spray bottle and the plastic treated.
After 20 minutes, wipe the surface with a clean cloth.
For stubborn stains, prepare another composition:
- 1 cup baking soda;
- 30 ml lemon juice;
- warm water.
The ingredients are mixed, and enough water should be added to make a moderately thick paste.
The composition is applied with a sponge, rubbed in, and the remains are wiped off with a clean cloth soaked in a soap solution.
